Shouldn't your data center operator pass more than just a technical inspection and thus provide proof of its overall corporate competence?
EMC Home of Data pursues a holistic approach consisting of four elements:
Technical certificates

ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information management systems.
It applies to private and public companies as well as non-profit organizations and defines the requirements for the introduction, implementation, monitoring, and improvement of an information management system (IMS).
Our ISO 27001 certification also serves as an important building block for our customers' ISO and BSI certifications.
In 2018, we also expanded our range of standards to include DIN ISO 9001 and successfully obtained certification.
For many years, this standard has been the benchmark for the highest quality standards in the service sector and in industry, not only in the German economy but worldwide.
Due to the increasing number of international and publicly traded customers, the inclusion of this standard has become an important part of EMC Home of Data's certification policy.
DIN EN ISO 50001 is a standard for the systematic establishment of an operational energy management system.
EMC Home of Data has been certified according to this standard since 2021, which helps the company achieve its long-term efficiency goals through appropriate monitoring and measures derived from this.
In addition, EMC Home of Data wants to show its customers and partners that responsible use of energy is a priority for us.

Since 2018, EMC Home of Data has also been certified according to the new specific industry standard for data centers, DIN EN 50600.
This standard, which covers the construction and operation of data centers, specifies availability classes, defines security zones, and qualifies the efficiency of measurements in data centers.
We are proud to be one of the first data centers in Germany to have successfully certified and operate our data center in accordance with this standard.
The international management standard CSR 26001:2021 “Social Responsibility - Requirements” has served as the technical framework for the EMC Take Care Program, which covers the areas of environment, employees, and community, since its certification in Q1/2021.

Our data centers combine a large number of servers in the smallest possible space. This results in concentrated but, overall, very high power consumption.
This high concentration of power consumption enables data center operators to make an active contribution to environmental protection.
EMC Home of Data sees this as its clear responsibility and operates its facilities and the tens of thousands of servers connected to them exclusively with regional green electricity from TÜV-certified hydroelectric power plants in Bavaria and Austria.
We are proud of our pioneering role in this field. We were the first data center operator* to operate its data center space exclusively with TÜV-certified green electricity.
